Fardouza Farah

Fardouza Farah - Vice President

My name is Fardouza Farah, and I am a junior at Yale majoring in Ethnicity, Race, and Migration. I was born and raised in Cape Town, South Africa, and moved to the US when I was 13 years old. My lived experience as a refugee drives my passion and care for the work that I do at HerKitaab. I am leading "HER Mustaqbal", a project within HerKitaab, where I engage with and teach a human rights curriculum to women in Somalia every week. I am very passionate about human rights law, and immigration law, which I hope to study post-grad.
